Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has insisted. He never considered leaving the club this summer.
“I feel very good at United. If they told me to leave I would have left, but I haven’t heard anything like that,” the 32-year-old said.
“I’m still someone who likes to be in a place where my family can adapt, and at the same time where I can be useful and play. That’s always been my goal.”
“It’s difficult at the end of the season to ask the manager how many minutes I’m going to play. If he starts to promise players minutes, then we’re going to have a long season.”
“It’s difficult to ask the manager at the end ยูฟ่าเบท of the season how many minutes I’m going to play, but there’s no discussion about that. I’ve just got my head down, working hard and focusing on one game at a time. I’ve got a year left on my contract so I’m going to focus on this year and go and give it my all when I get the chance and then we’ll see what happens after that.”
Eriksen started just 14 times last season and United rejected a loan offer from Real Betis on deadline day last summer.
